Hines has announced that it had obtained the final construction permit for Graffit, an A-class office building. The building will be constructed at Domaniewska 28 in the Warsaw district of Mokotów, within a walking distance from the Wilanowska underground station, in the vicinity of two major transport arteries: the Wołoska Street and the Niepodległości Avenue.
The architectural design of Graffit has been created by the Polish branch of the London-based studio Rolfe Judd. The building will provide its tenants with 18,500 sqm of A-class space on seven floors, including approx. 1,900 sqm of retail space. A distinguishing feature of the property is the large surface area of a typical floor, at a staggering 2,800 sqm. The design includes a three-storey underground car park for 360 cars, as well as full cyclist infrastructure, featuring parking spaces, changing rooms and showers.
“We are glad to have obtained the building permit. We are convinced that thanks to its highest quality, well-thought-out architecture and particularly convenient location, Graffit will attract great interest from companies looking for office space in the Mokotów district,” says Marcin Ratajski, Project Manager at Hines.
The further schedule for construction works will depend on the progress in leasing space in the building. Currently, the investor is organising a tender to choose the general contractor for the property. The completion of the construction works is scheduled for the second half of 2017.
